Lil Red Camper
This Vintage Style camper is a quaint little addition to our rustic 7 cabin resort. This camper was built in 2019 in a style reminiscent of vintage flair. Primarily suited for the camping enthusiast who understands the nuances and limitations of RV Living. Holding tanks provides enough water supply to water conscious individuals. This limited water supply is especially relevant with shower usage. The RV toilet drains into limited sized holding tanks and operates slightly different than what you are accustomed to at home. These are familiar details to those already accustom to RV accomodations.
This little resort is perfect for the outdoorsy kind who are coming for the camping experience where lake activity fills your day and evenings are enjoyed around the campfire. This charming camper has all the basics to create an Up North camping style atmosphere. A lifestyle one will appreciate becoming acquainted with.
Unlike the cabins which sit along the shore, this camper has air conditioning. It sits away from the water a short distance but has full access to the water and docks of this beautifully serene lake. This camper's close proximity to other cabins have traditionally created a friendly community style atmosphere where guests mingle and create lasting friendships. This is the kind of place where your grandparents brought your parents, your parent’s brought you, and you are now bringing your children to create beautiful memories while spending a nostalgic vacation in a familiar old cabin.
This camper is aproximately 140 sq ft and sleeps 2 people in the queen size bed. There is a kitchen and dinette in the space as well. The bathroom is what you would find in most RVs, the shower has it's limits but it gets the job done if you choose to use it. There is a dinette table and the kitchen has everything to cover your basic needs. The awning and outdoor seating provides a perfect area to enjoy a quiet evening watching the campfire.
Whether you are looking for a home base to camp at the lake or a base camp while you explore the area’s attractions, you will enjoy this cozy camper and all of it's amenities. More than anything, you’re gonna love the authentic charm and the carefree lifestyle that comes with camping Up North.

Cute little camper that was well maintained and clean. Service was great!
This was a great get away that was close to area visits. The camper was absolutely perfectly described. The lake was very quiet for a holiday weekend and it made for a peaceful trip. I definitely plan to stay again!
Cute camper that fit what we were looking for during a short stay. The camper is a bit small for a two people for a week, in my opinion. Sits near the beautiful Paradise Lake and lake access is simple and easy. Host is very friendly.
Great location!
Ritchie was very welcoming. The RV was very clean and everything was ready for us! We had a great weekend and look forward to hopefully coming back in the future!
This little camper was exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay. It was quaint with a beautiful view and at a great cost!
Ritchie was a wonderful host. He was very kind and inclusive throughout our short stay. The “Lil Red” camper was absolutely adorable and spotless on the inside. It was such a unique place to stay at very good price too! I would highly recommend this host and Airbnb to anyone 🙂
Great place to stay, very close to many activities outside of the area.
Cozy little camper on Beautiful site right on Carp Lake. Very close to Mackinac City and Headlands Int Dark Sky Park.
Ritchie is super nice and the Litte Red Camper is very sweet. The location is perfect for exploring the Wilderness State Park and Makinaw City/St. Ignace/Mackinac Island. Everything was great, except Carp Lake ist great for swimming.
Hi Tabea, I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. I am just a little confused why you felt the lake was not suitable for swimming.
